Happy new week guys!
It’s that time of the year again where the knit-wears come out to play.
For my look today, I went for an all black and white combo theme styling this oversized chunky sweater.
This one is from Zara got it last year in the sales and wore it only once, its very cosy and super comfy, plus I love the oversized fit.
I paired it with a black mom jeans, white boots and accessorised with a fabric shopper bag that I customised with some cool pins and finished off with a pair of trendy round sunnies!
White shoes are in and you can never go wrong with a classic black and white outfit!
I love the funnel neckline it’s perfect for those cold autumn and winter days.
It’s a perfect piece for layering, so I would definitely style it again in several other ways. I love to play with my outfits, so I would wear it over or under a maxi dress, layer under a pair of denim overalls, over a pair of trousers and over a pencil/midi skirt and finish of with a pair of ankle or knee-highboots and of course an oversized coat, because I gotta keep warm!

Thinking of where to shop for knit-wears at affordable and budget friendly prices?
Check out some of these stores like Zara has a good selection of knitwear and If like me you like a bit of colour, you might want to try them, they have a good selection.
Mango also, has good selection and there mid season sale is on now, up to 50% on selected items so it might be worth checking them out, think I might pop over there myself!
We all love a good sale right? 😉
Lastly, H&m is worth checking as well and Paul & Bear
Here are a few tips & tricks when Styling and Shopping for Knit-wears:
-
Go for oversized sweaters, you don’t want to feel smothered especially during the cold season. Personally I go for oversized because I like the baggy fit
-
Invest in cardigans, they are great for throwing on anything i.e. a Tee or dress
-
Chunky knits are great especially cable knit ones
-
Want to spend more? Go for cashmere sweaters, they are soft and really cosy, plus they last and never go out of style
-
It’s all about textures when it comes to layering. Mix and match chunky knits with soft materials and also denim
-
Layer a soft knit like a cashmere under a long sleeve shirt and pull up the sleeves to show a peek of the shirt. You can wear a coloured shirt underneath just to add a bit of fun to your outfit
-
Throw on an oversized sweater over a pencil skirt for the office and finish off with a pair of heels with tights or ankle boots
-
Who says you have to wear only grey, black, camel or white knit-wears in autumn/winter? Insert some coloured knit-wear into your wardrobe, a pop of colour is fun and will brighten up those cold and grey days
