The perfect knit midi dress

This is my first style post for 2017, looking forward to many more. 🙂

The weather has been in freezing mode lately, staying warm and stylish can be a bit challenging now. But, when you have a midi knit dress, you can stay warm and still look super chic and stylish.

Knit midi dresses are perfect for Winter, this one was a bargain from the Zara sales for €7.99. It’s simple and easy to style, paired with a long oversized structured coat, finished off with red patent ankle boots for a pop of colour and sunnies to protect my eyes from the cold wind. I love the turtleneck and the white stripes detailing on the sleeves & the neckline, it breaks off the all grey colour.

This Knit midi dress is a great piece to transition into Spring.

Styling and photographing this look was fun even though it was freezing cold, I guess it must have been the Starbucks Cappuccino to go that made it a bit easier! 😉

• Wear knit midi dress over jeans, add a faux fur gilet, blanket scarf and a coat for a layered look

• Add an oversized sweater over dress, with leggings or tights, blanket scarf and of course a coat 

• Opt for ankle boots, knee-highs or stiletto boots, the higher the better

• Keep it belted, add a belt to your coat to define the waist
