Today’s look is about styling this ruffled polka dot print maxi dress.
I totally adore dresses, they are fun, stylish and you can always get creative with them. The key to wearing them this winter is to play with layers. From layering with a turtle neck, oversized jumper and so much more.
I went with a red Zara knitwear on top of the dress and coloured tights, then topped it up with a leather jacket. For more layers, I added a quilted scarf. It’s giving me a Balenciaga vibe which I love. Hat to give an edgy look and for shoes, these new knee high boots.
This dress is from Asos and it’s actually the first time I’m wearing it. It’s a long sleeve wrap dress and has an open back detailing. I can’t wait to show you guys what it looks like without any layers on. Also, I love how it can work as a skirt too. You wouldn’t have known it was a dress if I didn’t say right?! 😉
Take off the sweater, throw on a pair of red or white ankle boots or heels and you have a whole different look.
I will be styling it again, so stay tuned!
See you soon.
Styling maxi dress winter
The winter wardrobe essential for me is a Turtleneck. I have been wearing a lot of outfit combinations using just that one piece. It’s an easy item to throw on with a pair of jeans and ankle boots. From chunky to thin ones, they are a must have item for winter. There are tones of looks that you can create with that piece, layered under a dress, pantsuit and so much more.
My outfit is pretty much simple but stylish, the checked coat completely transformed the look from basic to chic. Which brings me to one of the most important rules for me to looking stylish in winter. Never have a boring coat, just like a pair of boots. This checked coat is cool and on trend, I love it! Checks are huge this season and it goes all through to spring.
Coat is from the Zara sales. I am not sure if they still have it in stock. But, it’s worth checking in stores that is if you are interested! 😉
I am really into coloured tights instead of the conventional black ones. It’s a great way to elevate your look in winter.
This orange one is from Calzedonia, I love their look and quality. This works well with the floral dress, a pop of colour is always a great idea.
All you have to do is pick a shade from your dress and go with that, which is what I did here.
You can also wear clashing colours with a neutral dress or skirt. There are numerous fun ways to work this trend into your wardrobe.
Coloured tights are so in and I am loving it.
Let me know what you guys think.
See you soon! 🙂

Two trends that I really love, are the sock boot and checked blazer. They are versatile pieces that can be styled in so many ways, either dressed up or down.
I went for a mix of a wardrobe staples layering with a turtle neck and white shirt.
Baker boy hats are cool, apart from keeping your head warm or on a bad hair day. It has an edgy look.
And, it’s a great add-on to any outfit.
This is a chic and stylish outfit that is easy to recreate.
See you soon! 😉

Today I’m wearing one of my favourite cold weather essentials, the black turtle neck.
It’s been so cold and it gets dark quickly which makes it difficult to shoot.
I have been wearing it with almost everything in my wardrobe, it’s a perfect layering piece and I love it!
So, I teamed it up with a pair of cropped kick flare Topshop jeans, for shoes black Zara sock boots.
How cool is this puffer coat? The oversized fit is great and it gives the look a streetstyle vibe, which I love.
I decided to accessorise by adding a pair of black sunnies and a red beret for a pop of colour.
I wore this outfit on a weekend away in France. We started shooting from the hotel we stayed in, it’s a beautiful mansion called Le Manoir de Fourcy
But then, we spotted this blue bridge whilst driving and it was the perfect place to finish off the shoot.
What do you guys love to wear on the weekends?
If you are like me, then this post is for you. 😉

recap 2017 styles
Here’s a recap of 2017 styles featuring some of my favourite looks.
When it comes to outerwear, oversized from boxy blazers and coats
I am also a huge fan of floral dresses especially layered over jeans.
When you know what your personal style is, you work around that regardless of trends and wear what suits you. I wear pieces that are very me and never compromise. 😉
Don’t get me wrong, as I do try out other trends but I always stay true to my style.
Accessories play big a part in styling. Sunglasses and statement earrings are a must for me.
Lastly, comfort dressing is always a number one rule in my book. I always make sure to stay chic, but yet comfortable at the same time.
Fashion is fun and the best part of it is making it your own.
What are you favourite styles of 2017? I would love to hear from you guys.
Thank you all so much for the love and support!
Looking forward to more in 2018!
See you soon! 😁
Recap 2017 Styles
So, this will be my last post for this year , I will be sharing on my Instagram though.
Today I’m wearing two of my favourite colours, yellow and red.
I am not going to bore you guys and write too about my outfit as it speaks for itself.
The sweater and skirt are from Zara Australia. I got them during my time there, it was the spring collection.
They are not available in Zara stores or online, perhaps because of the differences in season.
My bag is from Mango.
I know some people are a bit skeptical about trying out colours, especially two bright ones at once.
But, I think they make an outfit much more interesting. 😁
However, it’s all about what you feel comfortable in at the end of the day.
Let me know what you guys think. 😉

So, It’s countdown to CHRISTMAS!
And what better way to start than with some haute couture fashion.
Today, I’m sharing with you guys some photos from the advent salon event that took place in Waxweiller by haute couture designer, Margret Gasper
It was a Christmas campaign featuring her Winter collection.
From wool, cashmere to silk. It was all about luxury and high quality.
It was great to be a part of it and experience it for the first time! I was totally in love with what I wore that day, a hand knitted cashmere sweater and wide leg pants.
They were so soft and cosy, I didn’t want to take them off! 😀
Overall, it was an excellent event and I am looking forward to next year’s one!

It’s a different kind of blog post today, I just thought I would share with you guys some highlights form my trip to the east of Germany.
So, it was my birthday a week ago and we had a little weekend getaway to Dresden with the hubby. 😁
It was nice to take some time out of Luxembourg for a few days and chill.
We stayed at a hotel in the Elb-Palais-Area called the Villa Weisser Hirsch
It’s an old manor with a beautiful view, overlooking the old town and the Elbe river.
Our room had a balcony with a lovely view. I was in love with how beautiful the deco was in the hotel.
On the last day we had dinner at Schloss Eckberg. It’s a five star hotel in an old castle.
We had some amazing food and wine.
As for my outfits, I took pieces that were versatile and my favourite piece of all was the leopard print coat. 😉
Also, the faux fur stole, I love the colour.
Thanks for stopping by.
Fall Winter Layers
fall winter layers
Today’s look is all about, warm tones, layers and a pop of colour.
Shot in the streets of Luxembourg as usual, I teamed a cropped trouser with an oversized shirt and faux-fur vest layered with a polo neck. I then added a belt to cinch in the waist.
Sock boots are the perfect shoes to wear with these kind of pants. A pop of red is always catchy and fun.
I love everything about this look and how the colours compliment each other.
And now that winter has kicked in, I would throw on a coat.
It was a dark cold day when we had this shoot, but I love how the pictures turned out in the end. 😁
Winter is Here!
It’s time to start wrapping up.
Pants and shirt are from Mango. The rest of my outfit is from Zara.
I can’t wait to style these pants again, I’m thinking with the leopard print coat. 😉
