FRESH SPRING LOOK

The weather has been chilly in Luxembourg even though it’s officially SPRING! It’s been raining a lot!

However, I decided to go for something fresh to kickstart the season. It was mild when we shot this look, so it was all good!

And also, there is nothing we can do until the weather decides to get better. So, I am just going start wearing some of my spring pieces.

A great way to do that is to opt for brighter jumpers instead of darker ones. Also, swap wool outerwear for lightweight ones like this trench coat.

What are your plans for the weekend? Perhaps, I will be sorting out my spring wardrobe.

Thanks for stopping by.

See you soon!

COLORFUL MARCH

So, here’s a look at what I wore a few saturdays ago.

I am back again with another fringe jacket look. If you remember I styled a red one just the other day, you can view that here.

First of all, I have been a bit bored and tired of Winter, so I always try to incorporate colours in my winter look. Mostly, because it makes my day. It’s so fun to play with colours. I went for a blue theme here, pairing this blue top with a jeans. A fringed colourful jacket and for shoes over the knee boots. Finally, I added sunglasses. It’s an accessory I can never do without. Also, how gorgeous is the jacket? From the fringe detailing and colours.

I love this look and how the colours compliment each other. It’s so chic and perfect for a day out to the cafe or shopping. Styling this piece was so fun and I can’t wait to wear the jacket in spring. When we have less of a freezing temperature. Actually, it’s not so cold some days. So, I think I can get away with wearing it.

We shot this look in Waxweiller. I spent the day getting fittings done for an upcoming fashion show at Margaret Gasper haute couture.

I am really excited and looking forward to the show because of the collection. 😁 I will be sharing some photos from the show, so stay tuned.

See you soon!

MATCHY MATCHY

matching separates

So, today I am wearing one of my favourite trends. And playing matchy matchy in this striped kimono and flowing trousers. I love this set, it’s so comfy and relaxed but chic. The great thing about it is that you can wear them as separates, but I decided to wear it as a matching set. It doesn’t require a lot of styling, but you can play with accessories. However, I opted for a belt to cinch in my waist and for shoes, blue metallic ankle boots. I love the contrast between the stripes and the blue. Also, I would wear them with sneakers for the day and switch it up to heels for a night out.

And also, it’s perfect for spring/summer. Overall, it’s a great look and I can’t wait to wear it then.

See you soon!

Outfit Details

My whole look is from ZARA

Here is a look at what I wore over the weekend. Usually, I like to look chic and comfortable at the same time. So, I start off with a pair of sweater most days. I like to keep it simple most times because it’s just easier for me. However, I use accessories to elevate my look. Today’s outfit is a red sweater and paper bag pants combo. Since it’s quite oversized, I tucked it in to show off my waistline. For shoes floral sock boots, I was going to wear black ones but these looked better with the outfit.

Finally, to finish off my look I added some dangling earrings, beige scarf and matching colour mini bag. Lastly, this checkered coat. Checks are so in this season. I am obsessed with this one, it’s just the perfect outerwear to throw on anything, from a dress, skirt, pants and so much more. It’s also a great transitional piece. So, if you haven’t got anything in checked print yet, you might want to get on it now. Thank me later! 😉

See you soon!

FRINGED JACKET

Here’s a look at what I wore the other day. We went away for the weekend to the North of France and stayed in a farm house called La Ferme de la Sensee. It is located in a village called Gouy-Sous-Bellone. It was the perfect place to shoot this look.

First of all, I am still loving these thigh high boots, it seems like winter is not going anywhere anytime soon. It’s still freezing, which means I still get to wear them for a longer period.

Today, I teamed them up with a fringed jacket here. I love the combination of these two and how they compliment each other so well.

I would swap the thigh boots for ankle ones and throw on a pair of jeans or pants for a more casual look.

You can wear it over anything from a dress, trousers, skirts and so much more. It’s so cosy and chic.

Accessories always add a bit more to an outfit, so I went for this cute tanned handle bag. And to finish off I added sunglasses and a hat, perharps I should have ditched the hat, but I was having one of those hair days!

But, I think I pulled it off in the end. So it was all good! 😉

LAYERING WITH POLKA DOT

Today’s look is about styling this ruffled polka dot print maxi dress.

I totally adore dresses, they are fun, stylish and you can always get creative with them. The key to wearing them this winter is to play with layers. From layering with a turtle neck, oversized jumper and so much more.

I went with a red Zara knitwear on top of the dress and coloured tights, then topped it up with a leather jacket. For more layers, I added a quilted scarf. It’s giving me a Balenciaga vibe which I love. Hat to give an edgy look and for shoes, these new knee high boots.

This dress is from Asos and it’s actually the first time I’m wearing it. It’s a long sleeve wrap dress and has an open back detailing. I can’t wait to show you guys what it looks like without any layers on. Also, I love how it can work as a skirt too. You wouldn’t have known it was a dress if I didn’t say right?! 😉

Take off the sweater, throw on a pair of red or white ankle boots or heels and you have a whole different look.

I will be styling it again, so stay tuned!

See you soon.

TURTLENECK OUTFIT

The winter wardrobe essential for me is a Turtleneck. I have been wearing a lot of outfit combinations using just that one piece. It’s an easy item to throw on with a pair of jeans and ankle boots. From chunky to thin ones, they are a must have item for winter. There are tones of looks that you can create with that piece, layered under a dress, pantsuit and so much more.

My outfit is pretty much simple but stylish, the checked coat completely transformed the look from basic to chic. Which brings me to one of the most important rules for me to looking stylish in winter. Never have a boring coat, just like a pair of boots. This checked coat is cool and on trend, I love it! Checks are huge this season and it goes all through to spring.

Coat is from the Zara sales. I am not sure if they still have it in stock. But, it’s worth checking in stores that is if you are interested! 😉

COLOURED TIGHTS

I am really into coloured tights instead of the conventional black ones. It’s a great way to elevate your look in winter.

This orange one is from Calzedonia, I love their look and quality. This works well with the floral dress, a pop of colour is always a great idea.

All you have to do is pick a shade from your dress and go with that, which is what I did here.

You can also wear clashing colours with a neutral dress or skirt. There are numerous fun ways to work this trend into your wardrobe.

Coloured tights are so in and I am loving it.

Let me know what you guys think.

See you soon! 🙂

CHECK PLEASE

Two trends that I really love, are the sock boot and checked blazer. They are versatile pieces that can be styled in so many ways, either dressed up or down.

I went for a mix of a wardrobe staples layering with a turtle neck and white shirt.

Baker boy hats are cool, apart from keeping your head warm or on a bad hair day. It has an edgy look.

And, it’s a great add-on to any outfit.

This is a chic and stylish outfit that is easy to recreate.

See you soon!  😉
