floral slip dress
Who says you can only wear a slip dress in summer/spring?
I love wearing dresses in autumn and most of all that is when my bohemian self comes out, MORE!!
I fell in love with this dress the moment I saw it. Yes it was love at first sight. The flowy silhouette, double V-neckline, colours and prints. Florals prints are timeless and they never go out of fashion. So, I thought of a location for the shoot and the first thing that came to my mind was autumn colours and leaves. I imagined walking through the forest with fallen leaves, so we headed there and used that as my backdrop.
Turtlenecks are wardrobe essentials, this one is from Zara, it has a gold buttons detailing and cuff slits. I styled it with the dress by layering underneath, threw on a leather jacket and finished off with black patterned heel boots and a mini chain handle bag. Another styling trick is with a long sleeve shirt, a chunky knit underneath or worn over, an ankle or knee high boots and throw on an oversize coat for those chillier autumn/winter days. Also, style dress with jeans or leggings underneath. The key is to layer layer layer.
The location was really cool and beautiful, nature at its best!
