Mixing basics statement coat
The thing I really like about fashion is that you can style your basics in several ways. There is nothing like a fun weekend in a comfy stylish outfit. White t-shirts are wardrobe essentials and having a bunch of whites is always a good idea because you can style them with different pieces of clothing. You can mix it up with your old basic clothes to give it a fresh look.
So, today I decided to bring my basics out and create a casual outfit that is comfortable, stylish, chic and warm as we are still in winter. I went for black strap palazzo jumpsuit, layered with a graphic white t-shirt, light weight cardigan and a leopard print coat. For shoes, platform sneakers, a red neckerchief to add a bit of colour, round glasses and lastly, a cute crossbody bag. It’s an off duty casual fun look, perfect for a brunch date and shopping.
The highlight of this look is the leopard print coat. Notice how it spruces up the whole outfit? 😉
